At a time when I was in a prolonged period of dryness and loneliness, God led me to attend the Collide “Birds and Lilies” study. I literally felt like refreshing water had been poured over me. I had never experienced anything like that before.

All within three months my relationship ended, I lost a loved one, I moved, and I got a new job. Counseling showed me that with time I could be made new again.

I was immersed in a community of God-loving women who understood my struggles and encouraged me in my faith. My Collide Bible study is an important part of my week and I am grateful that I get to be a part of such a wonderful community.

I honestly was feeling a little confused about church and if/where I’d find community again. This past year, Collide was a place I could meet with Jesus. The Collide Bible studies were a safe place to open up my heart and to let Jesus remind me of who he is. I found healing and hope.
