At Collide, we believe that God uses every day chicks to do amazing things. He meets us exactly where we’re at – in our doubt, our monotonous routines, our pain, our apathy, and our mess – and collides with us in a way that leaves us forever changed. We’ve been amazed as He’s redeemed our brokenness and empowered women in our community and beyond to walk in confidence of their identity as beloved daughters.
We’d love to introduce you to one of those women, Kim, and share a piece of her story of colliding with Jesus.
Collide has been foundational in changing my life, opening my heart to heal, and giving me encouragement to keep moving forward. I have been able to trust in His goodness, even after my father’s death. I have remained anchored in Jesus through the storm of a 3 ½ year separation from my husband. I have opened my heart to being vulnerable in walking out my calling and allowing Jesus to meet me in my mess and collide with my life to bring healing and hope. I’m a work in progress, still learning to surrender my plans and being open to the self-reflection necessary to heal my heart, but God has redeemed my life from the pit. He has softened my husband’s heart, helped me to take off my mask, and redeemed our marriage. God has opened doors to me to be able to share my story to impact others’ lives for His glory.
