Stepping Out in Bravery Class

So often we feel anything but brave. We have big dreams but fear and insecurities hold us back from taking steps forward. We can get stuck in patterns of playing it safe. We have all experienced the voice of our inner critic and have dealt with feelings of self-doubt and fear that we just don’t measure up. But we’re here to help break that cycle!

Join us for a powerful night of encouragement taught by Mental Health Therapist Kristyn Than and spiritual advisors Cynthia Cavanaugh and Sara Nelson, as we look at the ways that are holding us back and learn practical tips and tools for choosing courage in the face of fear. We’ll discuss helpful strategies for stepping out in bravery in the areas of your life you feel called to move in.

This class will help you develop a whole new perspective and guide you through building courage and bravery in areas of your life where you feel stuck or stagnant. We will also explore what Scripture says about courage and learn how to move towards bravery as we walk with Jesus. You will walk away from this class feeling more confident and secure in who God made you to be, and be challenged to take brave steps toward overcoming obstacles, doubts, and weaknesses to make your dreams and God’s purpose for your life a reality.

In addition to teaching, Sara is the director of small groups for her local church and has a passion for helping people learn to follow Jesus together through authentic relationships. Prepare for some real talk as we discuss ways we can step out in bravery. In our classes, we like to skip the surface-level parts and get right to the heart of what matters to us. At Collide we strive to live authenticity, telling our stories as they truly are, broken and messy, and invite women to do the same.

You’re going to want to come to this class with a teachable spirit, a hunger to learn, your favorite notebook, and a pen with lots of ink so you can jot down all the revelations, action items, and realizations you have as you listen to our expert teachers and chat with other like-minded women.
