Here and Now

A Collide Conference for Women

Friday, November 7th | 6-9:30 PM | Christ the King Church

Join women from across the Pacific Northwest for an unforgettable evening of inspiration! Women of all generations, backgrounds, and churches will come together to encounter Jesus in a powerful way. Prepare for an incredible night filled with worship, teaching, artistry, storytelling, dessert, and more.

You won’t want to miss hearing from these remarkable speakers:

Carlos Whittaker

Author, Speaker, and Podcast Host

Carlos Whittaker is bringing hope to humans all over the world. And he’s pretty good at it: he’s an author, podcaster, and global speaker backed by the power of a massive Instafamilia, his enthusiastic social followers who tune in daily to join forces with Carlos to find connection, do good, and be in community. His motto is don’t stand on issues, walk with people. That’s the professional stuff but every day, Carlos is a family man. He and his wife Heather live in Nashville, Tennessee with their three amazing children, where you can find them working on the family farm, planning trips around the world, and dancing to Single Ladies (seriously google it).

Bethany Allen

Pastor, Speaker, and Discipler

Bethany Allen is a passionate leader devoted to helping men and women step into their God-given identity. As the Pastor of Spiritual Formation & Leadership Development at Bridgetown Church in Portland, she spends her days counseling, developing curriculum, and equipping others for kingdom work. With a deep love for Scripture and a desire to be a lifelong learner, Bethany is committed to teaching and leading with wisdom and grace. Originally from the South, she made the Pacific Northwest home in 2007 and earned her Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry from Western Seminary in 2011. When she’s not investing in her community, you can find her savoring a good book, enjoying deep conversations over coffee, or exploring the beauty of the PNW.

wILLOW wESTON

Author, Speaker, and Founder of Collide

Willow Weston is an author, speaker, podcast host, and the Founder and Director of Collide, a nonprofit ministry with a national reach that impacts thousands of women each year. She has been in ministry for 25 years and loves bringing passion, truth, authenticity, and story into every room she walks into. She authentically shares her story of pain, and the beauty that comes out of it, in a way inspires and encourages people to bravely invite Jesus into their brokenness so they can experience hope and healing too. Willow, a mom and wife for over 20 years, is as real as it gets, obsessed with throwing parties, coffee, the beach, sunsets, kid cuddles, and a good, good story.

Questions?

If you’ve never been to a Collide conference before, you are in for an amazing experience full of unique elements and fun surprises. Our conferences are distinct from any other event you’ve been to, so we’ve compiled a few of the most commonly asked questions to help unpack what you can expect when it comes to the conference experience, and how to prepare for an exciting night of colliding with Jesus.

Collide is an intergenerational gathering that draws hundreds of women from all different backgrounds, stories, beliefs, socioeconomic statuses, ethnicities, and experiences. We have women who are 17 and women who are 87 sitting on the same pews and learning from each other. We have people who have known God their whole lives seeing Him in new ways right alongside people who are meeting Him for the very first time. They are blown away together. Collide is for everyone, no matter who you are or where you have been and that is, perhaps, why God is showing Himself so powerfully at our conferences!

We would love for you to come and experience God propel you toward life change at this event! We don’t want finances to be an obstacle in the way of you attending a Collide conference! Limited scholarships are available and we encourage you to ‘pay what you can’ so we can continue offering assistance to as many women as possible. To apply, please email us at info@wecollide.net.

Every Collide event is unique. We shape and craft an evening around a passage of scripture in the New Testament where Jesus collides with someone. Our events often include stories, teachers, speakers, dessert, art, music and worship, creative exercises, reflection and prayer. Each event is designed to meet women right where they’re at.

Seating is available on a first-come first served basis. Doors open to the event at 5:15pm so come early and enjoy a mocktail, shop our merch and grab your seat.

We kick off the evening with tray-passed “mocktails” to welcome you in. When it comes to dessert time, we do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions. Typically we try to offer a gluten-free option, but cannot guarantee items will be free of cross-contamination. Those with celiac disease or severe food sensitivities should exercise caution and make appropriate arrangements for their dietary needs. We appreciate your understanding.

Yes, you are able to come and go as you please as we want to make Collide accessible to you. However, we are not able to sell half price tickets. Our events are crafted as a conversation from beginning to end so keep that in mind as you plan for the evening. We truly believe you will get the most out of your Collide experience by engaging with each part of the evening.

Collide is not able to refund ticket purchases for any event. However, depending on the circumstance we have the following options for you.

If you’re unable to attend the conference you purchased a ticket for:
– You can donate your ticket to our scholarship program so a woman who is unable to purchase a ticket is able to attend. OR
– You can receive credit to transfer your ticket to an event of equal value. Due to already incurred costs, the latest you are able to transfer your ticket is 14 days before an event.

If an unforeseen circumstance beyond our control (speaker cancellation, inclement weather, public health concern, or government restriction) results in us having to cancel or postpone a conference:
– Your ticket will be automatically transferred to the next available conference/event or rescheduled date.
– If the rescheduled date does not work for you please contact us within a month of the canceled event and we will transfer your ticket to the next available conference date of your choice. OR
– You may also choose to donate your ticket to scholarship another woman who may not be able to attend due to financial constraints.

If you have any questions we didn’t cover here, feel free to reach out to us at info@wecollide.net and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re able! We can’t wait to see you at our next conference.
